The Nasa’s Glory satellite attempt to launch its latest earth observation mission has ended in failure. The satellite’s shielding face, which covers the satellite on top of the launcher did not detach properly, as expected.

The US space scientists attempt to launch its latest satellite mission crash down into the Pacific Ocean after a failed launch attempt on Friday, the second-directly blow to NASA’s damaged environmental monitoring program.

The Glory satellite lifted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on a mission to gather new data on factors that control the climate. But, about three minutes into the air, satellite telemetry showed a problem.

This might have made the rocket too heavy and therefore too slow to achieve its intended 700 km orbit. The same thing occurred to another climate-monitoring satellite two years ago with the same type of satellite.

The loss of the $464 million (£260m) Glory mission is a huge drive to the Orbital Sciences Corporation (OSC) as well as US Nasa team. The company makes the rocket and accumulated the Glory satellite for the space agency.

The Taurus rocket has launched nine times, among them six times it was successfully.

NASA space agency has another earth sciences satellite scheduled to launch on a Taurus rocket in 2013 year. The space agency plans to wait and see the outcome of the investigation board before it goes forward with the launch.

Adele's current single from the 21 album 'Rolling In The Deep' and seating at figure 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and is expected to outshine her 2009 breaking hit 'Chasing Pavements', which pointed at number 21 on the Billboard singles charts.

'21' was released out in January 2011 in the UK and sell 208,000 copies in the first week in England cities. Where it also debuted, at number one and it has now been awarded 3X platinum in the UK for sales of 900,000 copies.
