Graeme Swann and Andrew Strauss were likely to miss the match against West Indies in Chennai on Thursday 17th 2011. They missed the training session in Chennai on Tuesday due to stomach infection. The two players are expected to play the must-win match for England against West Indies.

England's lead scorer, Andrew Strauss has scored 198 runs and Swann is the highest wicket taker for their team by taking nine wickets. However, Trott was keen to emphasize after the practice session that both Swann and Strauss might recover for the match which drives them to the quarter-finals.

England has already suffered two huge blows of Kevin Pietersen and Stuart Broad. Kevin Pietersen fly back to home due to hernia surgery and Stuart Broad joined him due to side strain. England will play their final league match against West Indies at Chennai, MA Chidambram Stadium. England already won a match at this venue where they pulled out thrilling six run win over South Africa. England was defeated by Ireland and Bangladesh which made them to settle in the fifth position attaining five points.

Trott stated that the two players of their team and being captain, Andrew Strauss might recover from his stomach infection and hope that he will be alright for tomorrow's training session.
