Al-Qaeda names Osama Bin Laden deputy Posted: 18 May 2011 05:05 AM PDT Former Egyptian army officer has been chosen to lead Al-Qaeda militant operations to overtake the duties of Osama Bin Laden. After the death of Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden the post was occupied by Saif al-Adel former special officer of Egypt military forces. He will be interim head of Al-Qaeda. Al-Adel supposed that he has been assisted as one of the member of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, where he played a key role in a group which is responsible for the assassination of former Egyptian president Anwar Sadat in 1981. Al-Adel is also held an important role in fight with Soviet forces in Afghanistan. The secret sources said that Saif al-Adel has leaded the Al-Qaeda for almost two decades and played a crucial role in all the actions. He once played a role of Libyan Islamic Fighting Group which is linked up with the al-Qaeda. Saif al-Adel has a longstanding relation working with Iran since early 1990's when he moved from Sudan to Lebanon to be educated by Hezbollah in improvised explosive devices like IEDs. He also held training camps for Al-Qaeda in 1990. He has been operated from Saudi Arabia in May 2003 and responsible for attacks. He was captured ny police in march 2009 but he came out in exchange for an Iranian diplomat who was kidnapped in the tribal areas of Pakistan two years earlier. |
IMF Chief Strauss Kahn calls to Step down Posted: 18 May 2011 03:48 AM PDT Dominique Strauss Kahn has been facing more pressure to step-down as the head of IMF chief as he was arrested in a rape attempted case. Some French politicians have shown their anger over his action by U.S. authorities. Strauss Kahn bail petition was denied by the judiciary on Monday and sentenced to jail at New York’s notorious Rikers Island jail. Meanwhile the China, Brazil and South Africa are challenging for the chief post which will play crucial role on the world economy. IMF chief is reportedly to be remained at jail for attempting rape and other illegal crimes alleged over him. He will taken to judiciary on Friday as his lawyers will approach for request a bail once again until then he must be spend his time in jail. The law enforcement source confirmed that it is time from Strauss Kahn to suicide form the post of IMF chief. The IMF said that it has been interacting with Strauss Kahn since his arrest and it is very important that what will the decision of Straus Khan opting for. The close sources of IMF revealed that Strauss Kahn will be quitting for the chief post of IMF. There is also another rumor that all the 24 board members have the power to oust from the job. Strauss Kahn will be facing 25 years of imprisonment if he found guilty of doing the imposed charges. |
Dell Announces Q1 Results, shows impressive Earnings Posted: 18 May 2011 03:44 AM PDT Dell has released its results of Q1, and earnings were exceeded the expectations of the experts in stock market. The trading was took over at 4:20 E.T it raised its graph immediately to 4% and hours later it has been crept up to 5% as the market closed yesterday. The Dell reported that Non-GAAP EPS earnings was $0.55, slightly ahead of consensus estimates of $0.43, and raised up to 83% from last year where GAAP EPS earnings was $0.49 increased to 188%. The company's revenue was not much up to the expectations as it was increased only up by 1 %, overall revenue of this quarter reached $15.02 billion. The official said that it was bit less than what they expected to reach $15.40 billion although they were happy to cross low-ball predictions of $14.85 billion. The other competitors like in the market like HP has also announced their earnings early today, Dell has found their weakness in the consumer market compared to their competitors. Dell's consumer revenue was diastral reduced to 75 from last year and its revenue reached the figure of $3 billion. But these statistics show HP has more downfalls with consumer sales down to 2%. Dell did far better job in all the other sections as large enterprise revenue touched $4.5 billion and observed increase of 5%. In small and medium business revenue earnings crossed $3.8 billion and up by 7%. The company has increased their large enterprise as it has record profit while the small and medium enterprise has highest net profit in two years. |
