Don Kirshner was called as the Man with the Golden Ear. Don Kirshner launched the careers of several iconic performers including 'The Monkees'. Don Krishner was aged seventy seven years. Don Kirshner was born on 1934 in New York City and he entered into the music business in the 50's. He is a manager for a singer Connie Francis but later he went through the industry is demanding the performers with the songwriters. In 1960's he has found a publishing company named it as Aldon music which worked with a number of unknown performers including Bobby Drain, Carole King and Neil Diamond. The Aldon music was the most dominant music force in the pop music for several years which was eventually being bought out by Columbia. The filmmakers who created The Beatles group especially for television series were Bret Schneider and Bob Rafelson. They asked Don to compose music for them. He then became as a full producer and also helped in writing several hits that also include 'I'm Believer'. In the late 1970's, Don Kirshner has produced the highly successful 'Don Kirshner's Rock Concert' that was telecasted on ABC has served as a solution to other shows and stage performances. Apple Earnings: Apple Achieved Record Earnings Posted: 19 Jan 2011 06:56 AM PST Apple Earnings: Apple Earnings were nearly tripled in the Asia-Pacific regions. Records are set for Apple's high earnings and revenue. Apple has estimated its earnings of the first-quarter on Tuesday. This news has reassured the investors that Apple is having a strong platform to grow. The earnings of Apple has raised 0.21% to $341.36 at the close of the markets, but the share has rose to 1.59% higher to $345.49 a share followed by the Apple's earnings conference call with the analysts. Apple has announced their earnings after Steve Jobs had taken medical leave on Monday. Apple investors have to observe more on the Asia-Pacific region that accounted for $5 billion in revenue leading to one-fifth of Apple's total $26.7 billion in sales. Apple's chief operating officer, Tim Cook stated that several years ago, they identified China as their top priority and they put enormous energy into China and the results generated are absolutely staggering. He noted that it was clear that they were introducing a lot of people to Apple that had previously not introduced to the company and he thinks that it might help across the product line. Apple has declined to say their plans to expand beyond China in order to take on additional carriers in China. Cook has stated that some carriers were interested in order to carry the iPhone but did not specify the countries and carriers who have expressed their interest. |

Brett Favre, 41-year-old lead Minnesota Vikings within one win of a Super Bowl, he suffered sprained shoulder in December. Favre is the three time award winner of the NFL's most valuable player for quarterback admitting passing yards, touchdowns and wins. On Monday, Brett Favre officially filed the retirement documents after two seasons with Minnesota Vikings and one year with New York Jets. Favre announced his retirement in March 2008 from Green Bay Packers; later Minnesota Vikings interested and buy him. |
