Recent rumors claim Shakira is pregnant with her Spanish football player Gerard Pique after the Colombian singer canceled a sold-out concert in the city of Almeria.

According to rumors on Spanish social networking sites, Shakira has canceled a show in Almeria due to “health problems”.

The Colombian artist broke up with Antonio de la Rua, son of former Argentinian president Fernando de la Rua, in early January after a relationship that lasted 11 years, and for several months has been in a relationship with FC Barcelona’s Gerard Pique.

Despite the pregnancy rumors, concert organizers explained that the reason for the cancellation was the fact that the stage in Almeria was damaged.

“I was so eager to play in Almería for all my fans here, and though we tried by all means that the concert will take place, it is totally impossible because of the damage that has the stage. While I am reassured that the unless anyone has suffered any harm,” Shakira said in a statement.

Shakira's previous concert took place on the Vicente Calderon, Atletico Madrid's football stadium. The Colombian artist didn't show any sign that she was pregnant.
