Getting Safari like Theme

Fission is an Firefox extension which brings to your firefox cool progress bar in the address bar of the firefox, making your firefox safari’s clone like.

Text Rendering

If you have seen safari browser or Snow Leopard’s interface, you mat have noticed that Safari uses Text Rendering and also anti-aliasing which make it look more attractive.

Unfortunately, there is no plugin to do this, but we have a tool for windows that create the same effect. This tool is named GDI and it is available for free Download.

Field Highlighting

If we focus or click on any input field or text fields in Safari, there comes the box shadow element which is absent in Mozilla Firefox. We have guide to create that effect as there is no plugin or tutorial is published regarding that.

For Windows Seven Users, go to Mozlla Firefox’s Chrome Directory ( G:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\PROFILENAME\chrome ), there you will see two files. Open userContent-example.css file and add the following CSS at the end of the file.

textarea:focus, select:focus, input:not([type="submit"]):not([type="reset"]):not([type="radio"]):not([type="checkbox"]):not([type="file"]):not([type="button"]):focus{ -moz-box-shadow:0 0 6px #3064D3 !important; }

This will make your text-fields with box shadow high-lightened like in Safari when you write something in the field.
