Former IMF Chief Strauss Kahn gets released on Bail

Dominique Strauss Kahn, the former IMF chief is out the jail with supposing attempt to rape as judge granted him conditional bail.

Strauss Kahn was sanctioned bail on package of conditions and is all set to leave the jail on Friday. The judiciary ordered him to pay $1 million cash for bail and $5 million insurance bond. He will be house arrested at a New York apartment under armed guard and also monitoring his moves. Strauss Kahn will sign this deal then he will be out the jail.

Earlier in the morning Strauss Kahn submitted his resignation letter to the International Monetary Fund he quoted that he will fight against the chargers that were charged against him. As he is out the remand he will be taken to the apartment where he will be house arrest and he has permission to access no of lawyers and also to meet his family.

As Strauss Kahn resigned to the chief post of IMF there is a heavy competition for the global top finance post. But the managing director post has traditionally gone to a European for 65 years but is now in the sights of fast-growing developing economies who argue it is time for a change.

The issue will be probably come to notice at a summit of Group of Eight leaders in France next week. As all the United States and European nations hold more than half of the IMF’s voting power, giving them a big say over who will be leading the IMF.

LinkedIn IPO Shares rocks Stock Market

LinkedIn’s impressive initial public offering will be an encouraging factor for all other social-media networks to make their debutant not only stock market but also to progress in suspicions that the bubble is back.

The LinkedIn is the first major company in U.S. as social networking media to sell their stock on a public market. The Mountain View in social media has been making it an instant guide for similar businesses that could do the same in the next year which includes the biggest name and most popular now-a-days i.e., Facebook.

When LinkedIn shares were shot out at $83 and hi the high peak of $122.70 as veteran technology experts showed their disbelief. Social Media analyst said that it is a real good sign for the social media networks to step into the share market and increase their brand value. LinkedIn entering in the stock exchange is an enthusiasm that goes way beyond what the prospects are for the company itself.

LinkedIn has finished the day in the stock market with price value of $94.25 per share on the walls of New York Stock Exchange. The share of LinkedIn was increased double the time from Wednesday night it is $45 per share. Since from 2004 it is the highest market value is about $8.9 billion.

Apple releases New MacBook Air; equips Thunderbolt, Sandy Bridge

Apple is set to strike with new 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch MacBook Air with Sandy Bridge and Thunderbolt in June or July this year.

According to the history of Apple shipments the orders for New MacBook Air will be initially taken from late June or early July. The new MacBook Air price is expected to be high when compared to the orders from the consumers. But the Taiwan market person of Apple has made no official statement of new MacBook Air.

Besides Apple their other competitors of notebook PCs have planned to increase monthly shipments in order to meet established highest sales in the third quarter and the shipments that will starting in June is expected to be the at peak in the second quarter as per the sources.

The MacBook Air is an ultra-slim notebook PCs in competition with others including Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Acer and Asustek Computer are also offering slim models of notebook PCs. But Apple is coming with these models which are inferior to MacBook Air in thickness due to concern of production costs and sales price.

Apple shipped over 2.7 million notebook PCs in the first quarter of 2011 and the second highest quarterly level and only 5% lower than the shipment volume from the previous quarter. The shipments also include the new MacBook Air; Apple’s notebook PC shipment volume in the second quarter is expected to rise by 5-10% on quarter and may attain 3.0 million units.
